In 2017 André, from the publisher ID Cultural, invited me to photograph a friend – Rafael de Oliveira – in London for the project Exemplary Cariocas (Cariocas Exemplares). This book highlights some popular and prominent cariocas around the world. A journey which resulted in some memorable meetings with these outstanding people.
